Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp ground ginger
- 12 green cardamom pods
- 6 whole black peppercorns
- 6 whole cloves
- 1 tsp whole fennel seeds
- 1 black cardamom pod
- 2 in/5 cm piece cinnamon stick
- 1 whole star anise pod
Instructions
- Place all the spices together in the jug of a spice mill, coffee bean grinder, or high-speed blender. Pulse until the mixture turns into a fine powder. Transfer to an airtight container and store for up to 1 month at room temperature or 3 months in the refrigerator.

Thank you so much for this recipe. I know pods, seeds, cloves are best…I currently only have ground spices. Could you provide the measurement after each ingredient has been ground?
